QEEG: Brain waves reveal critical information about a person’s brain function, thought patterns, emotions and even stress levels. A brain map, or quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG), reveals how your brain activity compares to other people in your demographic as well as any imbalances within your own brain. It tells us which brain waves are hyperactive or hypoactive, and where in the brain these abnormalities are occurring.
A qEEG is also the first step in Neurofeedback training. This brain map will be used to guide your Neurofeedback protocol development if you choose to continue with Neurofeedback training at Extivita.
