Abstract

The diverse health benefits of the antioxidant peptide glutathione have attracted the attention of bioscience researchers and practitioners of alternative and mainstream medicine. Preliminary studies indicate glutathione plays an important role in repairing metabolic damage from toxins, poisons, radiation, infection, drugs, poor diet, injury, and stress.

A close look at the clinical literature reveals that depleted glutathione levels are associated with an astonishing range of disorders. The pluripotent peptide is a significant adjunct for treating disorders ranging from Alzheimer’s disease to Parkinson’s disease, schizophrenia, cell disfunction in diabetes, cystic fibrosis, heart disease, immune disfunction, and other conditions. A nontoxic substance, glutathione is gaining recognition as a truly naturally occurring universal tool for addressing chronic illness.
